Mabu-HEEYY!!!!

Sino ba ang mga Litratistang Iskrapbuker?

Ang mga Litratistang Iskrapbuker ay Ikaw . . . Ako . . . Tayo :-)

If you've been caught between your Tombow and your camera, well then you're in the right place (and you actually KNOW what Tombow is!). We are a group of avid, at madalas adik na scrappers living in the Philippines. We take photos so we can scrap them, or scrap so we can take photos; either way, we had to find a middle ground. Sa wakas, nakahanap din tayo ng ating headquarters ika nga, where we can share our photos and techniques all for the love of scrapping them.

Gusto mo ba sumali ng Li?

Before anything you must be a scrapper who does their own photography, hence isa kang Litratistang Iskrpbuker. Nothing fancy naman, just someone who has taken and dabbled with his or her photos and collaged them, made layout or projects, digital or traditional. Bakit ka niyo? Scrappers have a different purpose, madalas ang mga kuha natin meron tayong sketch in mind, minsan naman may binabagayan na brands, or 'di kaya meron tayong theme na gusto sundan. More often than not, these shots are everyday (and special) moments na ngyayari sa kapaligiran natin.

Simple lang ang requirements:

1. You must be a SCRAPBOOKING PHOTOGRAPHER
2. Mag sign-up sa Yahoo Groups
3. Gumawa ng Flickr Account if you don't have one yet
4. All photos must be taken with either a DSLR or a Point and Shoot; kung naka-film kamera ka, puede rin...kung naka Hasselblad ka, PAHIRAM!

Ang Misyon ng Litratistang Iskrapbuker:

Taking our cue from one of our (personal) idols, Ali Edwards who coined the phrase Life Artist, Li's mission is to gain appreciation in documenting our journey through life and make this a meaningful and an artful legacy for the next generation.

Li's Objectives:

  • create camaraderie among scrap artists who also have a passion for photography
  • to further our photography skills by sharing techniques to our fellow Li members
Ano-ano ba ang matututunan ko sa Li?

Alam namin na busy tayong lahat, madami sa atin ay may kanya kanyang schedule that takes up most of out time. So we will do our best to give you doable photography challenges, some tips, links and tricks that you can do on your own time. Basta ba naman nasa tabi niyo lang ang mga camera niyo, click lang ng click :-) We are still a few hours old, but we can guarantee we'll come up with exciting activities kaya antabayanan ang mga announcements.

Bakit ba may Filipino at hindi puro English ang blog na ito?

One of the many ways we can build our passion is to know who we are, where we are and our purpose. Ang pagmamahal ng sariling atin, ang ating wika at kapaligiran ang magbibigay ng inspiration AT SAYSAY ang mga compositions natin. So we encourage the use of both English and Filipino in our forums and posts and all the more, mas Pinoy mas maganda di po ba :-)

eto na... game!

mabuhay!

Open Season . . .

"Mom, can you stop following me around with that camera?" . . . "Babe, must you take a photo of the ground i just walked on?!" . . . "Ummm, Ma'am uulitin ko lang po, kukunan ko kayo na lumalaklak ng gatas?" . . . and the list goes on. As scrappers, we want to capture every memorable moment obviously through our journaling, our choice in papers and embellishments but more so through our photos. What scrapper does not have their trusty camera by their side, at the ready to capture the special and even everyday days.

After much talk about why was there no blog about our love for scrapping and photography, Au and I decided to just go for it. So here it is . . . our work over the weekend. This just isn't OUR blog, this is YOUR blog too. Share your photos (and techniques ofcourse!) and join us at LI's Flickr Gallery and post your thoughts at our Litratistang Iskrapbuker forum as we all take the same journey as Scrapbooking Photographers.

Ikaw at Ako
